Our Story

From humble beginnings working from home providing service to a handful of clients, Owner Sacha MacDonald, saw the opportunity to provide back office services to businesses utilising a contingent workforce.

Over 12 years later Rezource has grown to a company with staff located around New Zealand. Our clients have diverse backgrounds and vary in size and locations.

We are 100% bootstrapped, and nothing gives us more pleasure than supporting businesses achieve their goals, lighten their load and provide solutions to problems. We build long term relationships by understanding our clients needs.

Managing Director

With over 20 years’ experience working in management covering finance, administration and human resources, owner of Rezource Limited formed in 2006. Sacha manages the team, leads the direction of the company and supports clients with management support, recruitment, human resources and management functions.

Chan Collin

Talent Consultant

Chan brings a primary industry background. Chan has expertise in land management, business networking and regional business development. Chan is responsible for recruitment, project management and clients business development requirements.

Amelia Harvey

Client Services administrator / Accountant

Amelia has her Bachelor in Accountancy. Her attention to detail is amazing. Amelia works on-site with clients and in our office. She works in various systems across xero and partner software. A Xero Certified team member.

Penny Adams

Project Accountant

Penny is a CIMA qualified Accountant working as our Project Accountant, supporting management accounting, cashflows and budgets functions for our clients.

Kim Biggs

Client Services Administrator

Kim has been working in administration for many years, she brings a senior perspective to finance. Kim looks after a number of clients both on-site and outsourced.  She has a range of office management and administrative skills.  A Xero Certified team member.

Penny Horncastle

Client Services Administrator

Penny has expertise across the hospitality sector and supports at an office management level with a range of administrative requirements.  In particular value is her ability to manage reporting requirements for this sector.  A Xero Certified team member.

Megan Cox

Client Services Administrator

Megan has a background in administration and payroll. Megan is assigned to a number of payroll clients supporting them with one of the most important jobs, paying their employees. This job requires accuracy and attention to detail.

Sarah Jones

PA / EA / Board Secretariat

Sarah works with a range of Governance Boards, providing secretariat services, from board paper preparation, minute taking, meeting and agenda set-up.  Sarah is super organised and efficient and can time manage her boards effectively.

Jude Spencer

PA / EA / Board Secretariat

Jude works with a range of Governance Boards, providing secretariat support and EA support to leadership. Jude brings a background in Information and Systems, Executive Support, Administration, Writing and Editing.

Karen Lancaster

Call Centre

Karen works on our call centre supporting a number of clients requiring virtual booking services. She is a valued member of our clients teams, and customers would not even know that she isn’t located in their office.

Client Services Administrator

Leanne is located in Wanaka and carries out our call centre and phone booking services, she can coordinate your day so that you have a smooth workflow. She is also responsible for all our clients IRD compliance.

West Coast

Sian Madden

PA / EA / Board Secretariat / Social media

Sian is in the generation where digital media is in their DNA. She works within the online space, creating presentations, and setting up online media such as Facebook. Sian assists with PA, minute-taking and administrative tasks. Sian works remotely from the West Coast on assignments via cloud services.


Emma Lines

PA / EA / Board Secretariat

Emma works with Boards, providing secretariat services, from board paper preparation, minute taking, meeting and agenda set-up, including Executive Support to Chairs.  Emma has a background in project coordination.

Hayley Morgan

Client Services Administrator

Hayley studied Accounting and is in our Client Services team working with a range of clients with their xero book-keeping and administration.

Project Team

Under our sister company Arewa we have a full project team. Managed by Sacha MacDonald and Chan Collin our project team encompasses 6 Iwi Monitors and 1 Coordinator. Arewa works in the Maaori capability, workforce and economic development space.

Mareikura Ikin

Kairuruku – Toiere (Te Tauihu Maaori Business Network)

MK is our coordinator for the Te Tauihu Māori Business Network. Toiere has been developed by our Arewa project team for the benefit of all Māori across Te Tauihu.

Chan Collin

Chan manages our Iwi monitoring team and related Kaupapa Māori projects such as Toiere.

Sacha MacDonald

Sacha manages a range of shared kaupapa Māori projects, predominantly across Iwi related areas in education and te taiao.  Sacha also works in Māori capability development, entrepreneurship and is a facilitator of Techstars Start-up weekends.
